Law Update 8 Hour Mandatory or 8 Hour Elective – Hybrid
Provide students with an understanding of the laws and duties surrounding their job as a realtor and working with the public. Students will understand how to write a legally
binding contract, the history of and the concepts behind the Fair Housing Act, important sections of the Iowa Code and how to stay out of trouble with the real estate commission.

Zoom Registration – Books will be shipped UPS the week before class begins. You will receive the Zoom link in the class reminders.
You will need to have extra highlighters. Camera & Microphone required in order to receive class credit. Zoom participants must be seated with camera on as if you were attending in person.

Amy was born and raised in the Des Moines area and has resided here much of her life. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Iowa State University and her JD from the University of Iowa College of Law. In 2014 Amy obtained her real estate license and has been striving to serve her clients and other realtors ever since. Amy has a passion for teaching and coaching and enjoys helping others succeed.
