Divisible Movie Screening – 2 CE hours

April 10 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Starting in 2025, IAR requires 2 CE hours for DEI for your license renewal!

When: Thursday, April 10th 1-3PM

Where: AMC Theater Council Bluffs

What: Divisible is a feature film told thru interviews w/ issue experts and community members whose lives are undeniably impacted by redlining to this day. This film aims to educate its audience on the historical context that precipitated redlining, and the ways redlining’s effects are still felt to this day in the lives of millions.

The film provides a detailed look into redlining: what happened, where it came from, who was involved, how it supposedly ended, and why the 1968 Fair Housing Act did not truly get rid of redlining or its impact in Omaha, let alone the nation.

Divisible also explores how redlining impacted and continues to affect the following topics: white privilege, housing health, education, economics, the highway system, voting, and the criminal justice system. Divisible includes relevant historical information to create through lines from past discriminatory practices to today’s continuing landscape of systemic racism and oppression.

Join us for an Exclusive Panel Discussion after Divisible!

Stay after the screening of Divisible for an engaging open panel discussion featuring 4 key participants from the movie. The thought-provoking conversation will explore the film’s powerful themes and their real-world impact on diversity, equity, inclusion, and fair housing.
