About this Course
Developing Professionalism and Ethical Practices 12 Hour Prelicense, 12 Hour Renewal Elective or Ethics 4 Hour Mandatory and 8 Hour Renewal Elective.
Are real estate agents really unethical? What are the ethical problems facing real estate practitioners today? Can ethics be taught? These are some of the questions addressed in the 12-hour program, “Developing Professionalism and Ethical Practices.” In addition to meeting Iowa’s licensing requirements, this course also satisfies NAR membership renewal requirements.
Zoom Registration – You will receive the Zoom & handout link in the class reminders.
Camera & Microphone required in order to receive class credit. Zoom participants must be seated with camera on as if you were attending in person.
In Person Registration – Iowa Association of REALTORS 5950 Village View Drive, Suite 100 West Des Moines, IA 50266.
You will need to print your handouts before you come to class. No handouts will be printed at the IAR Building. Laptops welcome!
All students must attend all 12 hours in order to receive a completion certificate. Missed attendance will be transferred to the next available Developing Professionalism 12 hour course scheduled on the IAR website. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Registrations taken over the phone will be charged a $5 processing fee per class. Pay at the door/on-site registrations (if available) will result in a $10 fee. Please see our school policies for more information.
Advance registration for all classes is strongly recommended to ensure space and materials are available. Students desiring to pay at the door or register on-site are not guaranteed admittance.
